Frequently asked questions about payment by bank account

Payment by bank account transfer allows Quantum Fiber to withdraw your monthly balance for service directly from your selected bank account.

Once your bank transfer is set up, it never expires, so you don't have to worry about an expired credit card again.

There are no fees for payments by bank transfer.

You can change your saved payment method when you're signed in to your account. See the step-by-step instructions above.

You can find the routing number for your bank or credit union a couple of ways. If you have a check from your account, the routing number is the group of numbers at the bottom left of the check. If you don't have a check, you can find the routing number either on your financial institution's website or when you sign in to your bank account.

A failed payment can put your internet service at risk of disconnection. Here's what you need to know about non-payment:

  • You'll get an immediate email notification when a payment is refused.

  • You'll need to update your payment method and complete a successful payment. You can re-enter the same bank account you used before if it now has funds in it, or use a credit card.

  • We'll send reminders until you've updated and completed payment.

  • After three unsuccessful bank transfer payments, you will not be allowed to use this payment method for 12 months.

  • After 15 days of the first failed payment, your internet service will be disabled until payment is received.

  • If you haven't made a payment by the next bill date, your account will be cancelled and your internet disconnected.

  • Most financial institutions allow you to set up overdraft protection on a checking account and designate a backup account to avoid non-sufficient funds.
