Check the modem status lights
If you're still having connection problems, look at the light on the front of your C4000. A green light means the modem is getting a signal from the network. Flickering green means data is being sent over the network. If it's not green, see below for details.
Blinking blue light
Booting up
Solid blue light
Syncing with the network during bootup. If it gets stuck in this mode longer than 10 minutes, try unplugging and reboot. If it repeats, you'll need help from a technician.
Blinking green light
WPS is trying to sync with a device. Light will blink red several times if the connection fails, or return to solid green after connecting successfully.
Blinking green/orange (or green/white) light
Firmware update in progress. No action needed.
